Steps for installation (more or less!)

.-Determine which wall is most suitable for TV mounting, now use a stud finder to locate 2X4s (studs are 16" off center from each other).

.-Check for fireblocks (top to bottom movement of stud finder)

.-Make a cutout for a low voltage ring at bottom of wall (10"-12" from floor), then fish tape up the wall to check for clearance (fireblocks)

.-Install bracket on TV to determine proper location of holes on wall so TV bottom is 40" to 44" off the floor at the end of installation. (typical heights).

.-Remove wall mount from TV (there are two parts to it, one that attaches to TV and one that attaches to wall.

.- Place Bracket on wall and mark wall according to measurements determined on step 4 above.

.- Drill pilot hole ( just one of them) and make sure it's going through the stud. Drive one lag bolt just short off the wall.

.- Hang wall bracket onto bolt then balance bracket and make it level, now drill second pilot hole, then drive second lag bolt and tighten up both.

.- If bracket is level and height ok now make 2 extra pilot holes and drive 2 extra lag bolts for a total of at least 4 bolts.

.- Determine proper location for low voltage ring behind TV, then cut out an opening and then route all cables needed, including electrical.

.-Install low voltage rings by running cables through them and securing them to wall. Install plates.

.- Hang TV (which already has the other part of the bracket secured to it) and connect cables to appropriate inputs.

.-Do same at the other end of cables and hook-up components.

.-Test for proper function and align/center tv, then secure TV bracket to wall bracket.

.- Clean up debris.
