Above fireplace TV installation guidelines

All installations are different and we strive to keep your final cost down, however some jobs require some extra time, work and materials and we have to adjust the pricing accordingly.

Fully custom installations are those that require extended cable runs, whether up in the attic, under the house or those which call for removal of baseboards and/or installation of crown molding to conceal the wiring. This type of work is priced accordingly and a prior quote is given.

This room features a wall niche. Standard installation pricing applies.

Audio /Video equipment is located in niche area. Some niches may house built-in cabinetry and shelving.

This room is square and there is no wall niche, just straight walls to the left and right of the fireplace. Wiring requires removal of baseboards and opening of wall, patch work, texture and spot painting. Customer supplies matching paint. The installation may take over a day of work and the cost varies.

All installation pricing assumes that the wall where the TV is to be mounted already has an existing electrical outlet with adequate access. In the case of the "wall installation it means that the existing outlet is directly below the point where the TV is to be mounted. In the case of the "above fireplace installation" it means that there is an electrical outlet on either the left or the right side of the fireplace.
